Visit nearby small farms and greenhouse that are producing some of the organic fruits and vegetables that we use in our restaurant. We meet in the cafe around 9am and take a 30 minute micro bus ride to the farms. We meet the local families that plant, grow, maintain and harvest the vegetables. You will learn the local organic techniques that they use to produce beets, carrots, beans, strawberries and other vegetables. After learning about the farming process we will enjoy a delicious, eco-friendly, vegetarian lunch prepared by the families. We then take a micro back to Sucre.
