Sucre

Sucre has a population of 247,300 based on 2006 estimates.  It is the constitutional capital of Bolivia and the capital of the department of Chuquisaca.  It's located in the south-central part of the country and has an altitude of 2750m (9,000 ft).  Sucre was declared a Unesco World Heritage Site in 1991.
